Store Bought Bones
So I set a goal for myself for April to paint four models. One Warcaster and three solos. I finished, just. I did get a bit of work in on my wracks though. I really need to get/build a photo light tent so I can take better pictures. More pictures after the break.
As of today I’m on vacation. I’ve been working like crazy for more than a week to get ahead on comic strips. Last weekend I penciled all of the comics between April 21 and May 11, then spent the week coloring and assembling them. And now I’m on vacation for two weeks, just as planned.
GTA4 arrives this afternoon, and for the next week I have no other obligations than to wreak havoc in Liberty City, save for a trip to see Iron Man this weekend. And probably some miniature painting when I need a break from gaming.
Then Britanny was able to get some time off, so we’re going to fly down to Orlando for a few days and relax, hit some theme parks and get some sun.
After my vacation it will be about time to pick a new project to work on. It might be Volume Four, but I may also put that off until later this year. Can’t push it too far though, or it runs right into when we start planning Digital Overload 2009, and Winter-een-mas 2009.
I’m also thinking of throwing together a quick video-capture PC to capture footage of games I’m playing. Especially with GTA4 (since it lacks a replay system a la Halo 3) so much shit happens when you’re playing that you wish you could save it and show your friends.

PC GAMER (this month’s edition just came in my mail) has a lot out about StarCraft and the new Warhammer (Fantasy and W40K)
games coming out soon. Let us know if you make any of the W40K figures. They would sell like mad on eBay and the like. Myself,
I would be very interested in some Space Marines, Space Ogres, and a Battle Sister or two. 
Orlando is a lot of fun. If you are going to Epcot don’t forget to ride Test Track and Mission Space. Those are the only two good rides there though.
Wow, those look simply stupendous Tim! As a Warhammer 40Ker (Imperial Guard FTW), I can safely say that those are vastly better than anything I can paint XD
Would you mind if I asked you for tips on how to steady one’s hands while painting miniatures? I have a really hard time doing it and it’s frustrating because it’s keeping me for painting what I want

ahh, Reznik and Vilmon. plus 2 paladins… i roll the same thing occasionally, Vilmon’s impervious wall is awesome, he cant be hit by physical attacks, but you can still give him a run order. add in the cornerstone with the paladins, and its nigh unstoppable. trow in a dervish, and your set. makes for a good infantry/heavy killer pack. ive had Vilmon and the pally’s take out a carnivean in about one turn, the critical fire killed it on its owners upkeep.
I love the detail you’ve put on those miniatures! It makes me want to get out my paints and brushes again.
Hey, I was just wondering if there could be a minature game of webcomics aswell?
Something like Cad and AG and stuff united to get a whole bunch of characters together and then kick some a**?
would be kindda great to have a whole comic war.
(I see Hawk as a superhero and Ethan as a crazed king of winter-een leading the forces of good against evil game companys and maybe some ninjas to save Ethans life (because he decided to infiltrate Kojima headcorters for the new MGS game)):P:P
