You draw a lot of great concepts here that'd make for a wonderful story. I'm sure as a writer and artist it'd be incredibly refreshing to try your hand at a more serious project rather than straight up comedy. (Not that there is anything wrong with it, but I know personally how draining a webcomic can be.) Of course your work load is probably loaded with CAD, and you'd prolly have to wait until you could get a very large buffer saved up and everything else taken care of before you can even consider it.
